In the same vein as wanting to come hang out with Vic, the media he chose was always the background to my childhood and I’d love for folks to share any other suggestions so we can add them here. I’m thinking I’ll watch a movie or listen to some songs he liked on his birthday going forward or something like that. We’ll try to make this sophisticated at some point with playlists and links to the books etc.

  1. Making it big on little deals – John Schaub (imagine taking your ~14 year old to this guys’ seminar)

  3. The LBJ Trilogy by Robert Caro (not sure Vic read it, but I have and my Dad was part of this era and it just constantly reminded me of him and his family and some special political skills I think Vic also had but used in a different way).
